These organizations offer articles, literature and active support systems to promote public awareness of issues important to the welfare of young children and their families. They may offer speakers, information or advice on current national, state and/or local legislation, actions and public forums concerning disability rights, procedural safeguards and mediation.
Michigan Disability Rights Coalition (MDRC)
MDRC works to build opportunities for people with a disability to live fully integrated lives within their communities. MDRC is a state-wide network of individuals and organizations that advances the issues of Michigan's disability community through grassroots activism, public education and advocacy.
